If someone had told me five years ago that I would run a half marathon in under two hours, I would have told them that they were crazy. Running one mile in 8:30 would have seemed difficult, let alone doing that 13.1 times over. But this past Sunday, I ran 13.1 miles in 1 hour 51 minutes and 37 seconds. At 8 am. In the heat and humidity. And I felt good doing it! I wasn't even that sore after! I don't have any plans to run a full marathon because I don't even think it's good for one's body, but this was good. I was really happy with the results.
