I went to see Living Colour last night at Johnny D's. It was totally random that they were playing at such a small venue, and it was an awesome show. My friend Mike got me in because he was on the list, and I was his plus-one. Ten years after my first time being on the guest list, I still get a kick out of it. "I'm with the band" never gets old.

Tonight I'm going to see Kings of Leon, which should be the total opposite -- big venue, and I assume we'll be on the lawn, so I'll have to bundle up. It might be like 60 and raining. :(
