God loves me. That's why he gave me a granola bar.

On my way out of the subway this morning (I was running late, as always), these two young women offered me a "free granola bar." Of course, I happily accepted it; I hardly ever turn down anything that's free. But then I noticed that it came with a card that said, "This is our simple way of saying that God loves you." Ladies, if you're going to try to recruit me to your church, it's going to take a whole lot more than a granola bar. Maybe Thai food? Weirdly, after eating God's granola bar (oatmeal raisin, if that matters), He gave me the most intense craving for milk. I had to have milk or the world would end! Luckily, I pass a convenience store and a Dunkin Donuts on that part of my journey to the office, so my craving could be satisfied. Thank God. I wonder what this all means.....

religion, food
