BIENVENIDO A
hi guys!! finally made it to Spain!!! Its marvelous here. Madrid is my favorite place, incredible shopping, views, clubs, people...EVERYTHING. i live in a small town called El Escorial.. its about 50minutes away from madrid by bus. its a very simple villiage, very pretty but tends to get a little boring, and i didnt even meet anyone for the first wk i was here. I can understand most spanish now and i´m slowly getting better at communicating with people. i´ve met some really cool people recently, only 2 speak english. Sorry theres not a lot of pictures or me or madrid or anyone i know here but i promise to update again soon!! enjoy :)

the family i´m living with is pretty great, sometimes the boys are very...10 and 12.. you take a guess.
me and my host mom get along really great and shes really easy going but works soooo much.
on saturday we´re gettin a maid and cook.. i´m pretty excited.
the food here is okay.. nothing fantastic so far. they use oil for everything and deep fry a lot. needless to say, i´m pretty huge.
i´ll get some pictures of madrid and stuff soon, my camera wasnt working for a little while.. i really need a new one. Also, i´ll catch some pics of my newest 'friends'.. i tend to use that word loosely these days, i´ve met most of them just twice haha.
im havin a great time here, but i miss home soo much, and i miss all my friends and family.. and the ocean. hopefully you´re all doing fabulous and i cant wait to talk to you all soon! update me on everything!!
