Dark chocolate is an aquired taste. It's perfectly normal to like milk and milk can be delightful but I've liked dark since young and am now lactose intolerant. Add the benefit of eating dark chocolate to the mix and I can't resist. It's a treat I indulge in now and then. Also, since I have a sensitive palette, I can grasp the true flavors of the chocolate (the bean itself) in dark form. My mother likes Cadbury chocolate, which is very creamy indeed but the European vareraties are much less sweet (and interesting!) than the bar sold in the U.S. My father isn't much for candy or candy bars - he liked Heath bars and Almond Joy. I thought they were disgusting as a child and happily gave them over at Halloween.

Have you ever had a chance to try more realistic grape flavors than the usual purple sort (which is perfectly good). The Japanese make these wonderful gummi candies of true purple and white grape juices. It's an interesting switch from the usual fake flavor. They do the same with apple, which captivates me.

I know what those are! Do you mean Werther's original ? Those are surprisingly good! I resisted eating them when I was young.

Those are nice memories. Religion should creat that sort of comfortable feeling imo.

Cookies and pastries can absolutely be on the list. Chocolate chip cookies are good and they are an American invention from the 50's. Very interesting, since I'd have thought them older by the popularity. My mother sneak eats Peperage Farms and my father's sweet tooth has a weakness for cookies though not candybars.

Absolutely and as I said, get creative. You might be able to do something with your Charlie sweater or the photos of yourself (or not). Sky's the limit, that's the beauty of imagination.
