I'm new, and here with a Fic...

Ok, so i'm new here, and a little nervous. I just watched the movie a few days ago (which is a crime, I should have watched it when it came out, like a year ago...), and made a sweet fiction for it. Now, the reason I'm nervous is because... this is my first slash fiction. Ever. So..., here it is. Hopefully it's ok for my first real try.

Title: The Best Night Ever
Rating: G/PG (I think)
Summary: Wonka leaves the factory for a night, to attend a school function with Charlie. Charlie/Willy. Charlie is 18.
Disclaimer: I don't own any of the characters used in this story. If I did...

Wonka hummed an off-beat tune as he walked down the street next to his heir. He tapped his cane to the beat, as he swayed slightly to the music only he could hear. He had a broad smile on his face, but Charlie could tell it was a fake smile, and that the only reason he was being his own musical was due to his nerves.

“Are you sure you want to do this, Willy?” Charlie asked quietly.

Willy Wonka looked down at his heir-turned-friend-turned-lover. He smiled at the boy, a real smile, albeit slightly strained one.

“I’m sure, Charlie. You rarely ask for anything, so I figure, as this is the only thing you’ve ever asked for, that I should grant your wish.”

Charlie stopped, putting out a hand to stop his friend.

“Willy, if you don’t feel comfortable, for any reason, you don’t have to do this. We can go back home and relax, if that’s what you desire.” Charlie said. The sun was setting, and it cast a glow over the boy’s serious face.

“Charlie, it’s your last school get-together before graduation. You asked me to come as your partner. Now that we’re half way there I will not turn back and have you miss out on this, when I know that you really want to go. I know what this means for you, Charlie.” Wonka said softly, his own voice and words serious, a rarity for the man.

Charlie blushed, looking at the ground, before looking back up at his lover.

“Thank you.” He said shyly.

“Now come on, let’s get to this ‘get-together’ before they figure out you’re not there yet and send out the hounds.” Wonka said, back to his usual childlike antics.

“Yeah.” Charlie said, nodding. He gave Wonka a quick, barely-there kiss and walked ahead of the man, a little bit more sway to his walk than was necessary.

“I love that man…” Wonka sighed dreamily.

As Charlie walked into the room, Wonka attached to his hip, the people there turned as one, as if he was the main attraction.

Well, I probably am. Charlie thought with a sigh. But I’ve come for fun, and I shall have fun! Charlie glanced up at his lover, a smile on his lips.

The people gathered looked at the pair of males, assuming they had come just as friends, thinking nothing of the fact that they were just about attached at the hip.

They made a wonderful pair, though. They were both wearing matching clothes, though in different colors. Where Charlie’s Wonka-style clothing was white, Wonka’s was black. It was, in the eyes of the students, a very intimidating sigh to see both of the most famous candy makers in the world, together and in the same room. This was the first time Wonka had left the factory ever since Charlie had moved in, which threw them just that much more off balance.

Wonka wrapped a protective arm around Charlie, slightly nervous and thrown off at all the stares they were getting.

A girl walked up to the pair, a small smile growing on her lips as she surveyed Charlie.

“You surely tried to look your best tonight, didn’t you, Charlie?”

“Yeah. Last get-together thing before we graduate. I don’t want to look back and remember having done everything in half’s for the last party of school.” Charlie said, trying to be polite to the girl. Even though his mother wasn’t there, the lessons she taught him still were.

Who is she? Do I know this girl?

“Mmhmm. Wanna dance?” The girl asked.

“Um…”

What was the most polite way to say no to a girl without breaking her heart?

“No, little girl, he’s with me. He and I shall dance together.”

Well, Willy can deal with it, then. Charlie thought with an amused chuckle.

“Oh, hi! Are you really Mr. Wonka?” The girl asked, her intense stare now on the other poor candy man.

“Yes. Now excuse me, I like this song, and I want to dance the night away with my lover.” Willy said, dragging Charlie onto the dance floor, pulling the man flush against him. Charlie blushed heavily. Wonka thought the blush was rather endearing and cute, actually.

“I can’t believe it. The worlds going to know how our relationship really is.” Charlie said.

“Are you ashamed of me, Charlie? Do you not want the world to know?” Willy asked Charlie in a quiet voice.

Charlie viciously shook his head ‘no’.

“It’s just… they’ll think it started up when I was too young to protest. That’s how the press is.”

“I’m sorry to say this, but: Ew. I love you and all, but not even I would make any advances toward a child. I waited until you were seventeen!”

“Which makes me respect you even more, love.” Charlie said, leaning up to press a small kiss on the other mans lips.

A small awe sounded all over the room. The crowd had watched as the couple swayed slowly to the song, and watched them kiss. It really was sweet. Some of the people in the room even swore they got more cavities that night, just from watching the loving couple.
All in all, the night was a success, even with people watching the couples every move. And for Charlie it was the best night he could ever remember having. He was happy, and he had the man he loved in his arms, dancing the night away.
