Here Character Information
General
Canon Source: The Chronicles of Narnia
Canon Format: Movies, with some details from the books. (I feel that the movies give a far better look into the characters personalities and growth, but if this is not okay, please let me know.)
Character's Name: Peter Pevensie
Character's Age: 16
Conditional: If your character is 13 years of age or under, please clarify how they will be played. N/A
What form will your character's NV take? Considering Peter is from 1942, anything that's not a big clunky phone is going to baffle him. So I'm going to let him have a simple flip phone with a large screen and large buttons for him to type on.
Abilities
Character's Canon Abilities: Peter is a fairly normal human by most standards. His abilities lie in the time he spent in Narnia, as both a warrior and as High King. Peter is fantastic with a sword, proving himself able to fight men twice his age. In “Prince Caspian”, he duels with King Miraz and wins. He also holds his own in the very first war he fights against the White Witch. Peter also has skills in politics and diplomacy, and was considered an important peace keeper during his fifteen year reign in Narnia.
Conditional: If your character has no superhuman canon abilities, what dormant ability will you give them? Peter’s dormant ability is going to be a form of defensive/offensive matter control. He will be able to form a sword or shield at will, but not both at the same time. This power is going to take him a WHILE to discover and develop, but over time he might be able to shape small throwing daggers too. He can choose one or the other of these options, not all at the same time, and nothing else other than these options.
Weapons: Peter will not be bringing any weapons with him. His sword, Rhindon, and his shield that were gifts from Father Christmas in “The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe” were left to King Caspian after Peter left Narnia. Since I am taking Peter from The Voyage of the Dawn Treader time line, he won’t have those things on him when he is brought into Siren’s Port.
History/Personality/Plans/etc.
Character History:
Here!Point in Canon: When he is sixteen years old, during the time he is studying under Professor’s Kirke’s guidance.
Conditional: Brief summary of previous RP history: N/A
Character Personality: Peter is a boy who grows into a young man throughout his time in Narnia. When we are first introduced to Peter, he is thirteen years old. As the oldest of the Pevensie children, and also as a boy, he is left in charge of his family when his father is sent off to war. Growing up in the 1930’s and into the start of the 40’s, Peter is a polite and respectful young man raised in an average English family. He is a loving and protective big brother who will do anything for his siblings and family, but that doesn’t mean he’s perfect.
Whether it’s due to the stress of having to be the man of the house, or it’s just written into his early personality, Peter has a bit of a temper and can be a bit prideful and stubborn from time to time. He tries to be more mature than he actually is when he’s unsure what to do. When Lucy first comes back from Narnia, he is inclined to believe she is just playing a game and being childish. He talks down to her, not in a mean way, but still treats her like a child. It isn’t until someone older than him says that it’s possible that Narnia exists that Peter even considers it might be real. Edmund seems to bring out his temper most easily, and he will yell at him and threaten him if he does something Peter disapproves of.
His relationships with his siblings differ from person to person. He’s a bit competitive with Susan as to who gets to make decisions, he tends to fight and disagree with Edmund, and he is protective and doting to Lucy. But when push comes to shove, he takes care of all of them, even though it is revealed that Lucy is his favorite sibling. Even when Edmund betrays them all during their first excursion in Narnia, Peter still forgives him and wants to save him from the White Witch.
When first introduced to a new world, Peter reveals himself to be fairly adventurous. He seems eager to explore and see what's going on. He can be curious and eager when he wants to be. During their journey across Narnia, Peter has to make many last minute and heroic decisions, and even when he's not able to think things through, he comes up with smart plans. He's intuitive and able to think on his feet. Aslan helps Peter to become more confident in his abilities, as being shoved into the role of High King makes him unsure of what he’s really capable of. He hesitates initially in combat, but he runs head first into a fight with Maugrim when he realizes Susan is in danger, winning the fight and being knighted afterward. With patience and experience, Peter learns to take his role seriously, and comes to be a very capable and magnificent king. Hence his title “High King Peter the Magnificent”. He really is a very kind person, he can never turn away when he knows people are in trouble. It may mean danger for him, but he really doesn't care if he can help someone in the end.
Peter proves himself to be a brave and smart ruler. He fights intense battles, makes treaties with other lands, and is able to add new lands to Narnia during his reign. He is intelligent and hard working, and thanks to a little help from Aslan, a quick learner. He enjoys studying, and is a good student. This is why Professor Kirke allows him to live and study with him later on.
While his time in Narnia helps him to mature quite a bit, Peter does backslide once he comes home. With all the things he’s experienced, Peter develops a confidence in his abilities and a sense of self that a boy of thirteen and then later, fourteen, usually doesn’t have. This leads him to question authority figures, and even get into fights when people who disrespect him. He has to go back to Narnia once more to finish his growth. Fighting along Caspian humbles Peter a bit, and allows him to see that there are other people who would make just as good a king as he would. He makes mistakes and leads people astray when he himself strays from Aslan’s guidance. He can be very prideful, and this can lead to his ruin. He sometimes thinks it's his way or the highway, and it takes big consequences for him to see that he should have stopped and listened before he went ahead.
However, Peter eventually learns his lesson, and really becomes a considerate, thoughtful, kind, and respectful young man. He's not so bull headed that he doesn't eventually learn all his lessons in time. He is capable of taking care of himself and those he loves, but also recognizes that he is not perfect, and will require help from time to time. He’s still young, so there are always going to be mistakes to be made, but having already grown into adulthood once, Peter has a wisdom that any other sixteen year old would be baffled by.
Conditional: Personality development in previous game: N/A
Character Plans: My plans for Peter are to see how he’ll live and react in a setting like Siren’s Port. This is a very modern world, and for a boy from 1942, it’s going to be a huuuuge shock to his system. Considering Aslan’s here, he will have far more guidance than he would if he were alone, but I think he’ll be a fun character to play who can develop a fair bit of CR. He’s a nice, interesting young man who is also friendly and well spoken.
I just want to see what I can do with him! :)

Peter Writing Samples
First Person Sample [The video clicks on awkwardly, the image showing someone, but the picture is upside down.] I say, this is a queer little machine. [A voice speaks softly, and another hand reaches out to gently take the NV and flip it the right way up.]
Oh, thank you very much, Miss. I’m still trying to understand this whole situation. [Peter now turns his attention to the NV again.] This little thing can’t possibly be a telephone, it’s so small! But then again, anything is possible, isn't it?
I suppose I should introduce myself. My name is Peter… Peter Pevensie. I don’t know if my brother and sisters arrived here as well, their names are Susan, Edmund, and Lucy. Please, is anyone has heard of them, let me know.
[He fiddles with the buttons on the NV for a moment, and then lowers his head in frustration. He’ll get this eventually] This really is quite a fix I've gotten into. Aslan help me.
Third Person Sample Peter’s mind felt heavy, and he was struggling to understand his new found situation. Even though he was aware of the existence of other worlds, and was no stranger to being dragged to Narnia, this dark and oppressing new land was making the hairs on his neck stand on edge. Especially thanks to the fact that only moments ago he had been studying in Professor’s Kirke’s office. He hadn’t even felt the pull of magic, like the time he had been drawn into Narnia to assist Caspian.
Now the look of confusion on the oldest Pevensie’s face was apparent. While he was aware that he could not go back to Narnia, he couldn’t fathom why or how he was in this new place. It wasn’t England, or America. He was sure of that, it looked far different than anything he had ever seen before, and so… advanced. When he had woken up in that field, he was had been herded along until he sat in the bedroom of a small flat. There was a kind woman who had explained his situation, but he still didn’t know if there was some sort of plan behind it. This wasn’t Narnia, therefore… no Aslan.
Peter bent his head, placing his forehead against his clasped palms. His head was starting to hurt, and he wanted so bad to know if his siblings were here or not. They had a tendency to travel to new places together, or at least in pairs. “Susan… Edmund…. Lu. Please be safe.” Edmund and Lucy were back in England anyway with their cousin, so Peter had no idea what they were up to. Last he had heard, Eustace was being a little git as usual.
“I have to keep my head on, and be brave. I can sort this out… I’m a king after all.” He’d traveled to foreign places all the time in Narnia. He just had to let himself slip back into that state of mind, it would make him feel so much more confident. He wished for Aslan’s guidance, but it looked as if for now he was on his own.
Glancing up to the ceiling, and getting up off the bed to look out the window, Peter placed a hand against the glass. “Aslan protect me.”
