so i realize i haven't posted in awhile
a brief recap...
1)school = fine. i don't remember who it was (maybe shannon) that said "i would be so happy to be back at school if it wasn't for all these classes we had to go to"
2)work = we had our first competition last night. it went...okay. i've seen them all play better in rehearsals, but i've also seen it go worse. so, for the first one, it was pretty okay.
3)hands = still there
4)last night = pretty darn fun. i did such a random mix of stuff - and it was really awesome. i ended up playing ghost in the graveyard ouside of crouse w/ some freshmen (that i didn't know) and sophomores (that i did know) - so i got to meet some of the new peeps. then i went back home for what i thought would be a low-key evening.
little did i know that there was a margarita extravaganza happening. needless to say, i ended up being probably the most drunk i have ever been, and had "deep" conversations with the housemates.
o and we watched some drunk kid with a UCONN shirt on get arrested on our front lawn - and we have no idea who it was.
anyhoo. i think that's about it.
i don't really know what to think about the classes this year.
so, here's "THE GOOD, THE BAD, AND THE...OTHER"
GOOD
-Rehearsal Tech
-Orchestration
BAD
-STRINGS! (i want to kill myself in that class)
-Jazz Tech
-Vocal Tech
-Literacy (just cuz i don't want to be there...it's actually not that bad and i like the teacher)
OTHER
-Orchestra (should be interesting, playing the viola)
-Wind Ensemble (should be AWESOME, b/c we have an awesome ensemble)
-Percussion Ensemble (see above)
-Convo (yay Dr. Downing is running it again!)
