my family is so strange

so at about 12:30 today, my dad was sitting with his laptop...he suddenly leaps up and runs out the front door. my mom and i just kinda shrugged and was like, "wonder where he's going"
so about 10 minutes later, my mom looks out the window and goes "...he's raking?...that's what the big hurry was all about?"

my dad responded with, "well i just remembered that i had to rake, and i was running out of time before work..."

but still...

about an hr later, this conversation happened b/w my family

Dad: "Erica"
Mom: "Yes"
Dad: "You're not Erica"
Mom: "I know"
Dad: "Well then why did you answer"
Mom: "Because she didn't"
Dad: "...umm okay. Erica!"
Me: "yep"
Dad: "come here"
[both my mom and i come to the door]
Dad: [pointing to my mom] "Why did you come?"
Mom: "I wanted to see what was going on"
Dad: "But I asked for Erica"
Mom: "I know, but i wanted to come too!"
Dad: "umm okay. Erica, I hooked up the hose, so wash the other 2 cars b/c i have to go to work"
Me/Mom: "WHAT?!"
Dad: "WASH THE CARS"
[stare]
and then my mom and i just started laughing and couldn't stop

what a strange family
[i did end up washing the cars, but it was freakin cold, man]
