That should probably read "worse for wear" ha ha. I heard today that my biggest project at work (which I've been working on since November 2010) and which had a deadline of this coming Tuesday 17th January has just been pulled (i.e. is not to complete - aaaagh!) so I went home and did this:

i never had such a long term work and especially a drop off (that the right term to use?) on such a scale either.. what annoyed me alot in the past was a design for a logo.. i designed 3 brilliant designs which they dislike.d. then they requested their version completely different with "kids" in so i vectored everything took me a day and they didnt like it.. they gave it to *another* company which basically took *my* vectore recopied it crappily added some frills on them and resend it to the client... apparently they didnt like that either (thank god they didnt or i wouldve gone personally and done some damage..) but the other company is a pretty serious company so i was pretty appalled and offended of what they ddi O_o
/close ramble/
i cant completely agree with the alcoholic way of forgetting but i heard it works ok sometimes ^^ XD sry i am not a fan of cocktails/ alcoholics... bu t CAN agree on the choice of Blue Curacao since thats the only alcoholic i enjoy drinking XD tho usually mine is much lighter with orange juice .. so i end up having it in green...
yay for new graphics card tho :D nice note to finish with! enjoy the camera :D

We probably don't use the term "drop off" in that sense. We'd more likely say "pull out" (bit like troops pulling out of a battle zone!). You can say that the project has been "pulled", "scratched", "derailed", or "cancelled" - the result's the same!
Oh, at least your tiresome bosses didn't like the other company's work either. Can't you apply for work/a job at the other "pretty serious" company?? Sounds as though your work is good enough.
Lots of friends gave me cocktail ingredients for my birthday in November so it seemed a shame not to try a few! Citrus is the base of curacao so your orange juice idea probably works nicely, even if the colour is green.
Thanks - I'm sort of enjoying the camera but more LEARNING it at the moment. Sometimes I think I need to take it to obedience classes...
