Hardly! Didn't you have Bach playing in your church or something? We had a brief day-trip from Handel and that was it!

I won't be in Oxford for the Tokyo String Quartet, alas, but I'm glad you're taking the opportunity. I hope you enjoy the concert!

Hello - good to see you. I am very curious to hear the sound of 4 instruments all from the same (rather good!) workshop AND this quartet of players is very exceptional in terms of musicianship also. The programme is Haydn, Szymanowski and Schumann, so nicely varied. I would much rather that Japan didn't have any earthquakes but I also grabbing all these unusual opportunities and trying not to feel guilty about enjoying them.
