Strippers?
In a google talk conversation on Trillian with my older brother with my mother sitting beside me:
[17:33] Alexander Wong: Are you home or something?
[17:34] Stephanie: No, I'm in Canda
[17:34] Stephanie: Of course I'm home =P
[17:34] Stephanie: *Canada
[17:35] Alexander Wong: Woah canada... Montreal? Strippers?
[17:35] Alexander Wong: :-)
My Mom: Strippers? What does he mean by that?
A little later.... I had to send Alex a reminder email. In it I included, "Mom is also mad that you never respond to your calls" or something similar. My mom got flustered and mad (in a playful way) at me and pushed at me.
My Mom: Don't write that! Delete that!
Me (laughing): Why?
My mom: *leans about 1/2 inch away from my keyboard, with her glasses pulled down her nose so she can see the keys* Where is it? Where's the delete key? Steph! Where is it?! Oh there it is! Back..space?
Within the same conversation, I told my mom Alex might be typing through his cell phone, which has a keypad.
My mom: How does he respond so fast? Does have a type wr.....
Me (bursting out laughing): A type writer?
Oh mother.....
