I kind of miss having my old professors for radiography. I had to go up to North Haven today to sign up for an advising meeting (You make me drive out just to sign up for a meeting???? WHY???) and I ran into the head of the program (actually he's no longer head of the program this year, which is sad) and he ended up giving me a hug, not like one of those quick "oh hey, hi" but a real hug. I can't remember the last time I got a real hug from a teacher, except for maybe when I got my certificate from the program, but that was more a quick hug. But it makes me wish I was still in that half of the program. There's only so many teachers I've had where they are fair, genuinely care about you, teach the material in a manner that helps you really learn and retain the information, and are enthusiastic about what they're teaching. I think of my whole time here, I've only had maybe two or three teachers like that. My honors biology professor and Bill pretty much, though a lot of the DI staff are very genuine and fair and pretty much all go on a first name basis.
MRI clinical.......based on those two days, I'd have to say it's the best clinical rotation I've ever had. Chaotic, fun, and (when it's not busy) laid back.
