EVERYTHING ELSE WAS GREAT TOO. I mean, seeing Jenny in her bra is a bit awkward, because TAYLOR MOMSEN IS FIFTEEN, and I'm sorry that things have started to go wrong already, because I was rooting for her. Well, it was inevitable. She's lucky she didn't get doped and fell off a cliff after she started hanging out with Kaitlin Cooper.
YAY Dan and Blair being pseudo-friends! And then he fucks with her! For Vanessa! And then talks to Chuck! I was expecting Chuck to strangle him with his bow tie right there, I gotta tell you. This is how I love this show! Being about friends! Who are fucked-up! But are friends! And, wow, I love seeing Dan around other people - Nate, Blair, Chuck. And Serena too, at least when he isn't being insensitive and stupid.
CHUCK/BLAIR: see, I always thought of them as future ex-spouses. They don't have a happy ending in them, imo, unless it's way down the line, then I can see it. I enjoyed them a hell of a lot this episode. Blair has this thing with forever, and I'm not a fan of high-school soulmates in my fiction, but Chuck and her really are very intense. Let's see what the show does with that.
I loved the first season of Lucie Miller audios! She has a little arc and everything! It's funny, because I don't think any of the audios are GREAT, but put together, they work well. The little moments completely make it for me. As do the anvilicious, "wow, Doctor, scary stuff happens a lot when you're around!" moments.
