And I finally watched the latest (last? how many there still are?) Friday Night Lights.
Jason Street, you're still there! I missed you. You had one line, but it was a good one, and Tim's reaction was great. What made me happiest about this episode was the tiny scene with Tim and Jason, even though I was squirming for poor Lyla (I have a huge embarrassment squick), because these are my favorite relationships: Tim, Jason and Lyla, and all combinations thereof. It's nice seeing Jason being okay about Tim obviously liking Lyla. And then Logan Huntzberger went and got in the way of Timmy's flowers. Aw, Tim. Give it time. I do not trust Logan Huntzberger.
Julie is annoying me. She wasn't before, I was going along with her teen rebellion and the mother-daughter endless fighting, but enough. Leave Tami alone. Go hang out with Tyra or something, Julie, at least then you could bring Tyra back into the show.
I HATE THE BOYS AT THE MOVIE THEATRE. The racism is bad, but the pestering leaves me furious. I HATE THAT. Ahhgh. Poor sister of the Smash whose name I do not remember. HATE.
Also some stuff happened to Matt and Santiago, but what I thought was interesting was the birthday party, because that's how it actually is - at least in Brazil, the big party is when the girls turn fifteen, and they wear big dresses and fifteen couples of their friends waltz around them and then the music switches to modern stuff and it's a party. A lot of my friends had big fifteenth birthday parties, though those were mostly way more modern, but it made me nostalgic for the year every other weekend there was a different big event we got to dress up for. College parties are fun, but there are rarely dresses and waltzing, and I was raised on princess movies. I like that stuff.
New Torchwood this week! The season premiere was fun, so I expect good things.
