You know, I'm sitting here, watching Camelot and trying to write a post about just what it is that's missing for Camelot to be (have been) a great show, but then I realized what the true problem ACTUALLY is: no fic!
Clearly, the broad strokes are there, and a bunch of cool details, but some good fic could work wonders for this universe. There should be Kay and Arthur fic, there should be knights fic, there should be tragic Arthur and Morgan showing that they would actually get along great and be unbeatable if they weren't enemies, there should be slow-burn Igraine/Merlin fic, preferably taking in account their fucked-up history, there should be pre-show Morgan and Sybill fic, and above all, there should be awesome, fucked-up Merlin/Morgan fic about the many ways in which they are fucked-up. This should exist! As I haven't yet learned how to a) make people write things just by wishing it or b) write myself, I will just have to keep hoping. And wait for Yuletide, I guess.
Also, Morgan should be called Morgana.
