EXCITEMENT! BRAND NEW UNEXPECTED DYNAMICS BETWEEN CHARACTERS! PAYOFF FOR THINGS THAT HAPPENED AN ENTIRE SEASON AGO! STEFAN AND CAROLINE! JEREMY AND DAMON! CAROLINE AND DAMON! MULTIPLE REFERENCES TO VICKI! ELENA AND BONNIE'S RELATIONSHIP! CAROLINE AND BONNIE! ELENA, CAROLINE AND BONNIE! Poor Caroline, always second best. When Stefan took Caroline away and Elena stayed with crying Bonnie, I shouted at her, no, Caroline is the one that needs you now! But of course then we got fantastic Elena-Damon and Elena-Bonnie material. Matt! Being in love with Caroline, as he absolutely should! I do hope someone speaks to Caroline about her mom being a vampire hunter soon, though. Think of how awkward that revelation could be.

Damon is now head of the Council! That is profoundly made of LOLs, as it only makes me think we are one step closer to yahtzee63's wish of seeing Damon become the new mayor.
BONNIE'S NEW POSITION OF MORAL UNCERTAINTY! Let's not forget she was the one that allowed the vampire device thingy to work, which ended up causing Caroline's car accident, and that she gave Damon the go ahead to give Caroline vampire blood. And, in fact, that she let it slip to Katherine that Caroline had vampire blood in her system. She isn't directly responsible for any of it, but she's gonna have to start to figure out that her horse isn't that high, and things aren't all black and white. Damon isn't always the one to blame. (Still, he mostly is.) In any case, Caroline being turned will probably mean she'll be forced to revise her opinions on all vampires ever.
ELENA AND STEFAN! So great, or the greatest? What about just Stefan in general? What about every single character on this show ever in general? I LOVE EVERYONE. I like that the entire Lockwood family is starting to come more into focus.
In conclusion: MORE PLEASE. Joy joy joy.
