A friend of 20 years!

I am so very excited! On thursday don and I will be going to Ohio so tHat I can be in the wedding of my best friend from high school! I am amazed that I have had a friend I can say I have had for over 20 years! It makes me sound old huh ? :-) It is going to be a glorious weekend! God worked it out so that she can get married in the sanctuary where we grew up together as teenagers in the Lord! It is that alter where I got saved and where I went forward as the lone person one sunday to get filled with the Holy Spirit. There were two women who were so instrumental in my early walk as a believer. Colleen, the bride's older sister, and Rosina. I will get to see and spend time with both of them! I am filled with so much joy! My friend, Jeanette the bride became my best friend between my freshman and sophomore years of high school. We went on a mission trip together and sat together on the bus. All my friends had left me second semester of my freshman year because I had taken a stand for my faith and refused to watch movies I felt violated my beliefs. God so faithfully brought me first Colleen and Rosina. Two juniors who reached out to me, and then jeanette. Jeanette is 33 and she has waited for the right man. His name is Tony and he hasn't ever been married either. IT IS POSSIBLE TO WAIT!!!!! I am so glad she did! And now I get to be a part of her special day. I am a bridesmaid and don and I are also singing. It is gong to be so much fun! I CAN'T WAIT!! God is so good :-) Just wanted to share my joy with you all!
