The last day of the year!!!
WOW!! I can't believe it is the last day of the year!! Amazing! I feel like I have lost about a week of my life since I was in sick and then in the hospital. I got food poisoning and then it kicked my body into hypocalcimic shock. That is when your muscles feeze into a cramped position. It is quite painful. It doesn't happen unless I have been calcium depleted by being sick. It will not be happening again in the near future!! I had an IV with calcium for 3 days. I am feeling better everyday now. NOT the way I would have chosen to end my year believe me! We did get to witness to one of the nurses, and I experienced favor on every side with all the nurses and doctors. God is still good! He is still in charge! I had peace in my spirit through all of it, even the most intense pain. My wonderful family prayed in tounges and quoted the Word of God over me the whole time. I quoted the Word too. It really does work1 In case you wondered :-)
It's been such a crazy year! This time last year we were just finishing our season as youth pastors. This year we were named assistant pastors. Amazing. Next year we will have a baby. So many life changes. I am so glad I serve a FAther who NEVER changes. He is constant when things change around us. I find that as I move through the seasons of my life, time is moving faster. All the more reason to embrace every moment, let the pain pass, revel in the joy, laugh often and criticize rarely. I just proclain over 2006 that it will be the year of the Lord in my life! I want all He has for me this year. Whatever that looks like :-)
