You never did tell us all what you can do with a theater degree--you do not need one to do local theater-there is no money in it around here. Give me some suggestions as to what I could do with a theater degree, if I go that way. Thanks

Well, since you are usually berating me, I don't know why I should advise you at all...but there are a number of things you could do with it. It helps you gain connections and gives you a knowledge of theatre that community and regional work just don't. Depending on how high you take your education (and what field you are interested in), you can do anything from professional work to teaching.
