well, i dont usually update in school...so at first i tried to think of something useful to do, but i finished all my french homework already, and everyone around me is just either playing a game on their computer or checking their email, or...i dno, let me look. no, they're just playing games.
hania is not here today. she has stood us up. how COULD she? now we're all gonna sit in a circle in scoot's basement with the lights out and a zillion candles lit, talking about everything, and she'll miss it, and we'll all be on the same page, but she will not. ack.
i just thought of something. karen, i love you!!!!! but sign off now before you get in trouble.
ok, so yesterday, i made a batch of chocolate chip cookies, except i forgot a whole cup of flour (did one and a third cups instead of two and a third). i managed to salvage them, but one whole dozen came out like pimply crusty pancakes. needless to say, i chucked them. but the rest were good! honest! i mean, who wants blonde cookies anyways? what's the high premium on blondeness? they were only brown cuz some of the chocolate melted. okay?? they tasted good!
then i realized that i hadent been sledding all year, which is tres pathetique as we have had several snow days, and i have a great big hill in my back yard. so i went bundled up (except i couldnt find any snowpants, so my ass froze a bit) and went outside. i did the full enchilada: sledding, jumping off the swing into the snow, throwing snowballs, making snowangels, and, when i couldnt think of anything else, sticking my face in the snow and making a face print. it was very revitalizing. i mean, it's really a shame to waste a good snow day, even if it was mostly rain for the better part of it. besides, you need to embrace the child in you. by engaging in such activities and snow-playing and puddle-jumping and making an entire batch of brownie batter and then just eating it out of the bowl.
i was sitting in french listening to mme. yelle go on and on about...not a lot of anything (plus it was in french, and the french are all mad...ha! there was georgia talk for you, kirky, happy st. moogie's!), and i got this mental image of the guys from the deceptacon video doing the little dance and i heard the "who took the bomp" part in my head and i started giggling really bad, but luckily, as i said, i was in french class, so no one noticed cuz they're all insane anyways.
omigod this is really long and boring! dont comment, it'll just make me feel bad that you read all that nonsense.
