(no subject)
So weirdness abounds in the land of Kate.
Thursday I went to a show at the Collective and it was really strange because I saw someone on the way there I hadn't seen in over a year and last I had heard he was in the Yukon on an "adventure" but apparently he's been back since the summer. Had the biggest crush on him when I worked with him like, 3 years ago. We almost fooled around once but it was really awkward so we didn't. But anyways, turns out we were going to the same show so we hung out there then I drove him to work. Then he said if I wanted, he could put in a referral for me there so I could work there too. (Call centre, but it's 9 bucks an hour. Whoot!) So that was strange.
Yesterday I was up at 5:30 in the morning to go to work for 7, worked till 2. After I went shopping with my mom and then we had to babysit a little 6-month old baby (of a friend of my mom's). Soooo cute. She would cry when I left the room. Then I went to the Freehouse for Liette's birthday, called Brady to come out too, turns out he was going to Silverados instead but he had originally been planning to go to the Freehouse anyways. Good thing he didn't because at the end of the night, I saw his ex there. That would have been bad, to say the least. So phew. Then I came home and slept for 9 and a half hours, but it was that really really deep sleep that you wake up really refreshed from.
Now I'm watching "Glitter". Anyone ever seen it? No? No one? It's definitely inferior to "Wisegirls"--but all in all, Mariah Carey sucks. So does Jeff Goldblum.
On another note, Melanie don't kill me please, but I think I might have lost that book of the play with our scene in it. I honestly have looked everywhere it might be at my house and work, I'm going to the gym today and I'll look for it there too, because seriously, I had it in the lounge when we were reading it, and then I don't know....did you happen to notice if it fell out of my bag, or in the locker somewhere? We'll talk more tomorrow, I'll go to Duckworth lost and found and ask about it and all that crap. It's been stressing me out all weekend I swear. This sucks.
