Oh, and also, I wanted to tell you all out there that Dan and I saw 'The March of the Penguins' in the movie theatre a couple weeks ago and I fell in love with it!! Now that is my kind of movie. 90 minute documentary on the cutest animals on earth. Kept my attention and I didn't even fall asleep!! I even cried some - it was so touching. *vomits at

I also have to say I find it justa little funny that a movie with any sort of plot puts you to sleep while an hour and a half of "lookit the fuzzy baby penguins" holds your attention. Of course it may be because of being in a theater.
*puts on smart hat* People fall asleep easier when watching TV because the pictures is formed by pulsating lights. These lights can have a slightly hypnotic effect which is why most television programs (such as the news) change camera angles constantly. The angle changes forces your brain to stay focused. When in a theater the picture is formed by single images being shown in rapid succesion to create the illusion of movement. While we cannot see it our brains actually register the movie as a series of single pictures thereby forcing the brain to work constantly to process everything.
