I've done loads since last update, as usual. Also as usual is the fact that a lot of it is of largely no interest to anyone apart from me. Here's a digest.
Last weekend I went on the Christmas Angel Pub Crawl with several Oxford friends, which was fun. This was followed by Thomas's house party with Wii and wine (which should so have been the official event title on facebook), which was also fun, not least because of Adam and Sean's amusing and lengthy argument about whether or not you could rank the Doctor Who actors.
The week before that, I went to Seb and Rachel's flat warming, which I really enjoyed, but had to leave a lot earlier than I wanted to in order to catch the last train.
This weekend I enjoyed similar shenanigans in Manchester courtesy of the Team North Christmas Party - the undoubted highlight of which was Rob's intermittent recital of S Club 7 lyrics. Despite the whole thing ending with, in Martin's words, 'a certain tenseness', it felt like old times.
What should have happened afterwards was that I drove home in good time to be able to accompany the singers from my musical premiering a song from said show at a local carol service, followed by a gathering at my house to get us into the festive spirit. What ACTUALLY happened was that I crashed my car on the A38 and ended up stranded for an hour outside Bromsgrove while my dad sorted out the insurance and rescue details. The KA was eventually towed away and the rescue guy even managed to drop me at New Street Station and I got home at aroud 8.30. I'm OK, I don't seem to have damaged the car I crashed into and the only damage to my car was a punctured radiator - so, objectively, it's really not a particularly serious state of affairs. But it did absolutely ruin what should have been a great day, and it was a surprisingly upsetting experience.
