It's based off of the Hellblazer comics (which everyone says is amazing & I need to read asap) and from what I've seen/heard they've tried to keep it true to the story so I have high hopes for it! Supernatural is based off of Hellblazer and Cas wears almost the same outfit as Constantine so if you like SPN you'll definitely enjoy Constantine because they have a lot of similar/same elements. Sleepy Hollow is in the same genre and has a few similar elements but the shows 'tone' feels much different, at least to me anyway.

I was expecting Gotham to suck (I didn't want it to but I go in with low expectations lol) but daaamn it's so good! Since it's on it's first season it starts out rather flat but it's really building up now and I'm always excited for the next episode now. Definitely watch it soon!

You totally deserve it! :D

omg yes, I have lost so much time to that site but yet I feel like it was kind of well spent time because I found so many brilliant things there! I have massive amounts of ideas for fashion, home decor, diy, travel destinations, just everything. :D

Does Constantine have the scary-ish supernatural elements of Supernatural? I love SPN, but I also am a huge scardy-cat, so it's been years since I actually watched it because I could only watch it with a housemate, and the only housemate I have now is my boyfriend and he's an even bigger scardy-cat, lol. Sleepy Hollow for me (in comparison) is more idk, thematic in it's horror, so it's less jumpy than SPN was, which is the only reason I can watch it. Basically, I'm a huge wimp - could I still watch it?

Gotham is stilllll on my to-watch list, because I'm waiting for said BF to watch it with me, and he's currently working full time days, and I'm working afternoons so we're limited. I think it'll be a marathon over Christmas/New Year for us, which should be goooooood if they have a nice arc for us to follow.

Maybe? I was trying to think of the right word to describe it and I think the word you used. thematic seems to fit it best? There hasn't been much that jumps out at you like all in your face. You can tell when the scary thing is going to happen (at least for me?? idk if anyone else does this). It doesn't scare me so it's kind of hard to judge. There are scenes of/with demons and such, which is to be expected but I haven't been scared or anything, just creeped out a bit, which I enjoy. I guess you'd just have to watch it to find out? D: Sorry I'm not more helpful!

SPN is reallyyy tame now in terms of scariness (well maybe the leviathan would be scary...might or might not want to google that. :P), the first two seasons were the scariest imo. Some scenes would legitimately freak me out. I don't know if they'd still freak me out now as I've probably desensitized myself some to scary stuff, like Hannibal for example, which takes it to an entirely different realm of horror. Ugh, I sometimes regret my decision of watching some episodes...

Hmm...well I think the main arc is about Gordon trying to fix Gotham and free it from the massive amounts of corruptness and mob control. But since it's got a large cast, there's several smaller arcs going at the same time that blend into the main one. So, yes? lol I'm awful at describing things. It is slow building, which seems to happen with most of the DC shows except for Flash which started off really well so I feel it pays to stick with it. Hope you guys like it!
