Starting last month, we've started a new wonderous side project- creating an icon calender! Each month we are sharing inspirations and creating icons based on the month in question.

1: When I saw the "Groundhog Day Loop" trope as one of our inspirations, I knew I had to use "Mystery Spot." Angsty icon turned out to be more angsty than I planned.
2: The Wikipedia page for Harlequin mentioned demons, so my mind went to my favorite demon!
3: I took inspiration from the mask of Pierrot, which is black and white and also very sad.
4: This icon was inspired by the bright colors in all the pictures of Carnival!
5: Since February is
tinebrella's birthday month, I made an icon inspired by her style (and using only her textures). Happy birthday, Val! ♥
6: February is also
firstillusion's birthday, so I let myself be inspired by her amazing negative space and Amy Pond icons. Happy birthday to you as well, Janie! :)

1: I wish there was some deep, meaningful reason for this icon being it, but in all honesty? I watched too much TV this February and The Hour kind of started (or cemented) the idea that, while in Uni, February is the waiting month in which you wait for something to happen... and in that waiting time, it's a good idea to marathon amazing shows with historical backdrops, and crack-tastic shows that suck you in just the same.

1: I was inspired by the Carnival masks and so made an icon of... someone wearing a mask!
2: I highly associate February with purple so I decided to make an icon of the purple-est character I could think of, Sailor Saturn.
3: February means Valentine's Day and this year especially that meant a lot of me talking to friends who were having a hard time dealing with the day emotionally.
4: Hearts and ever lasting love present: The Companion Cube. Get attached!
5: This February I finished watching Revolutionary Girl Utena annnnd I got a new OTP! Flowers, love, dancing, February!
6: For me, February is the end of true Winter so I decided to make a sort of colder, mournful seeming icon.

1: I know people see River as a fiery character - and she is, but there is something of the winter in her. A chill, but where you can feel spring approaching.
2: The Crimson Petal and the White is winter and cold in every aspect and it was the first thing I thought of for this post.
3: It was the image of the glass that inspired me. Do you know those single glass windows? How they don't leave out the cold at all? Yeah, that.
4: This is an image of a woman in a snow storm. I know you can't quite see it now, but the original most certainly is. The colours of the primrose in the inspiration post inspired me as well.
5: This scene was heart-breaking and Hermione is shot in cool colours a lot in this film (the whole film was, of course). I liked that.
You have brains in your head so...
1. Please credit the correct maker. You can find their wonderous identities right above their icon sets.
2. Please do not edit any of the icons you find in this post.
3. Comment if we've delighted your eyes, inspired your minds, or even if you think we could have done better. We'd love to hear from you (because no one is youer than Y-O-U).
