My conversation with the 411 operator:
Me: Hi! The number for FuLi's please. It's in Logan Square.
Operator guy: Will that be a 911 emergency?
Me: ::pause::...what?
Operator: Will that be a 911 emergency?
Me: Um. Well. It's just a restaurant, I mean, should it be?
Operator: (Flustered) what number did you need?
Me: Uh. Fu Li's. I want Japanese food.
Operator: OH. I thought you said the police. Sorry.
I love it when telephone personnel turn out to be human. It's a great feeling. Somehow I always end up in these kinds of situations.
