Thursday Night is Alright for Television

Since I got rid of my DVR last December, Thursday is really the only night of the week I feel like I NEED to be in front of the tv.  This was a great Thursday night.

It is funny that one of the sweetest episodes was also one of the ickiest.  Tonight's Office gets an 8 in squick factor beginning with the vomit and ending with Michael and Pam's mom (Did anyone else think Michael might hook up with Meemaw?).  Let's not forget Andy's scrotum, Dwight interacting in a sexual way with, well, anyone, and Kevin's feet.  All of that aside, I got a bit weepy when Jim made his toast at the rehearsal dinner and again when he snipped his tie.  And when they ran away.  And the end shot...OH MY GOD I WANT A REAL LIFE JIM HALPERT.  Actually, I'm more of the Jim type, pining away over the friend with the significant other.  I am so looking forward to what baby Halpert will bring to Jim and Pam's relationship.

Supernatural started out pretty gorey tonight, no?  I love the fact that they were in Canton, Ohio.  Not only is Canton located about 30 - 40 mintures from me, I have several friends that live there.  I would like to say Canton does not have a sheriff's department (which broght many laughs from me and my viewing buddy Jen) and Canton law enforcement would never make an arrest that fast.  I laughed so hard at Ghandi attacking Sam.  He really was squirelly.  And why oh why mush Paris Hilton invade another one of my shows?  I have to have her on my Veronica Mars season1 DVD set, and now again when Supernatural season 5 is out next year?  At least she gets beheaded in this one.

Goodnight folks!
