After a busy weekend...I hate Monday
Well we went to prom on Saturday night. It was fun to get dressed up and to see all my students done up too, but all in all it was BORING! So as soon as my shift was over, we left. Kinda a bust for the night, nothing to fret so much about. And to think I was all upset over having to do my own hair! It turned out alright.
Yesterday was Mother's day, and I gave my mom a pair of diamond earrings and sent her flowers from me and Dez and Chaylea. She liked them, so that made me happy. Dez, Chaylea, and I went out to dinner, and he gave me a really sweet card. It was very thoughtful of him, particularly since I'm not the mother of his child, at least not by blood. It meant a lot to me that he acknowledged me as a mother to celebrate. =)
So now it's Monday and my day is dragging on & on. I'm waiting to hear from Dez about his orientation for mediation with Carrie. I'm dying to know what happened. She wasn't very nice to him the other day when he was visiting, and that just pissed me off. I wish she'd just grow up and act like an adult. but she treats him like crap just like she did when they were together.
Jen still isn't speaking to me, so I'm guessing she's still mad. Oh well. She was over the house the other day and didn't even look my way. How very childish.
