Lovely day
Today is beautiful. The sun is out, chores are getting dones, errands are being fullfilled and life just keeps on blooming.
I started doing some laundry and house hold cleaning...when I realized...it's time to clear off my patio, which was piled with pots with bad soil from last year, a few trash bags, old shoes, and a cat bed leaning against the wall.
As I took each individual pot to the dumpster and emptied it's contents, I realized it's almost time to plant new flowers and vegetables! I'm very excited, I love color. But I also noticed that the more I moved things around on the deck, the more I could see the carpet underneath. Who's the idiot who said, "Let's cover this outdoor patio in carpet"..??
I've noticed it's starting to sprout things like little plants and some mold. I can't just sweep it away either. Not to mention, when it rains, the water gets absorbed by it and stays wet for days to come. It's an annoyance really.
Tomorrow I'm making arrangements to get it pressure washed. Stupid apartment builders. Also, when I make my transition to a two bedroom, I'll make sure to look at the patio first thing!
Well it's off to finish that damn laundry and start on the kitchen...*grumble*...at least it's nice out and I can blast my music with the windows wide open!
