[It was another day. Wake up, take care of the animals, humor the 'family' with his father role and then resume with his plans to build an animal shelter. The days became weeks ever since the eventual 'loss' of Koishi and recently Utsuho's changes. His own family, fake or real, is changing and not for the better.

Enkidu will be seen knelt down to the floor to feed the cats that inhabited the house with the pet food before even looking at the girl. He could tell that the girl is close from her footsteps and from how the animals reacted to her presence and 'told' him she was there.]

[All in one swooping motion, Enkidu leaps through whatever space there was between himself and Satori only to wrap his arms and embraced her tightly. Well, not too tightly but enough to let her know his feelings along with tears starting to fall slowly down his cheeks.]

Too long, Satori. You were gone for too long for me. I tried not to be upset since... I hoped that you returned to see your sister again. But I will not lie to you and say I had not missed you at all.

[After all, with the exception of Gilgamesh whom was already his brother, Satori, Koishi and Utsuho were like the family he could have had in one life but never did. Having to accept that they all were droned was like a cruel knife to the heart. But now, he is feeling all sorts of joy. It was selfish of him, but having to see her again returning was more than enough to make his day.]

[She closes her eyes and allows herself to enjoy the embrace. Though she'd resumed her life in Gensokyo and had, in fact, gone home - there was something of a homecoming here, too. Something that she couldn't get in Gensokyo.

After all, in Gensokyo her sister's eye is still shut, and nobody cares to speak to Satori Komeiji. But in Mayfield, she has friends. In Mayfield, she has family.

And as terrible as Mayfield is, as much as she wishes she'd never woken up here, she's simultaneously glad for it.]

...I seem to have caused you some trouble.

For you... for your sister... and for Utsuho. It's no trouble at all. You three are the closest I could call family of my own, even if none of us are blood related. I did not want to rely on my brother so much but... it did feel cold when I realized I was alone.
