There are a lot of similarities between Satori and Patchouli that she appreciates. Even before she officially befriended Patchouli, she'd always thought her one of the more intelligent people from Gensokyo - and though she might not ever say it out loud, she's extremely grateful for the wizard's emotional support during the hardest times. She knows Patchouli is someone that she can rely on, and is one of the first people she'd go to for help.
The walls around her heart are difficult to knock down, but Patchouli has found a weakness and managed to become one of Satori's favorite people.

Beloved Sister
■ ■ ■ ■ ■ ■ ■ ■ ■ ■
Satori's little sister, who closed her heart and lost her mind. Satori is extremely protective of Koishi; she blames herself for Koishi closing her eye, and she's determined to make sure nobody else hurts her. She's managed to fail spectacularly at this so far, but she stubbornly continues to make up for her past mistakes. Since Koishi's been given a second opportunity to have her Third Eye open, she's encouraging her to keep it this time; whether or not she will remains to be seen, but Satori's gradually gaining more confidence that she will the longer she goes without closing it. Koishi is always and always will be Satori's number one priority in Mayfield; she won't act until she knows where Koishi is and what she's doing.

Satori and Parsee have a mutually...erm, beneficial relationship. Satori vents her frustrations with herself on Parsee, and Parsee gets the biting insults she wants. There is probably no other person Satori hates more than she hates Parsee, because in Satori's eyes the hashihime ignores and even complains about the good things she has. Not that Satori doesn't do the same thing, but...
At the same time, though, there's a part of Satori that pities Parsee. How could she not? She knows what it's like to be alone and to hate yourself for being alone. She tries so very hard to hate Parsee because she wants to get rid of this feeling for good. There's no room for pity in a world as cruel as this one.

Favored Pet
■ ■ ■ ■ ■ ■ ■ ■ ■ ■
One of Satori's favorite pets. Okuu might not be the brightest bird in the flock, but Satori doesn't care. Her limited amount of patience is extended a hundredfold when it comes to Utsuho, and there's nothing she likes better than a lazy day with the raven perched on her shoulder, or in her hair, or anywhere close. She's not as protective of Utsuho as she is of her sister because she knows that her pet is one of the more powerful figures in Gensokyo at the moment, something she's proud and wary of at the same time. Satori loves Utsuho very much but she also understands that if she snaps, they'll both be held accountable for what happens, so while she's willing to overlook a lot of flaws in her favorite bird, there are some things she'll be harshly disciplined for. (With words, with words!!!!)

Satori cares for Yamame marginally more than she cares for Parsee. Recently she's felt a sort of pang of kinship for the spider because of a certain phone call or two. But she still doesn't like her. Satori is well-known for her aversion to fun. Even her sister has to work hard to get her to have fun. And Yamame is all about being happy, which only makes Satori angry. So can she tolerate Yamame? Yes. Does she like her? Absolutely not.

To say they have a relationship is exaggerating; Satori's spoken to Yuuka a few times, and she's found her somewhat entertaining.
On the other hand, she has heard rumors about her, so she tries to keep their conversations as brief as possible. She's not someone Satori wants to spend too much time talking to, purely for the sake of her own safety.

All Satori knows about Elly is that she's someone who likes Parsee. And of course, she can't let that happen.

Best Friend

Kei has been outright friendly to Satori since day one, something that's confused her for just as long. Though initially she tried to brush him off, eventually his stubbornness won out, and he's now her favorite person in Mayfield, Koishi and Utsuho excluded. She's developing feelings for him that she's certain he won't reciprocate - she's content as long as he calls her his friend, but she's slowly realizing she wants more than that.
He's not afraid to reprimand her when she's done something he thinks is wrong, and that is probably, oddly enough, what endeared him to her in the first place. He's honest, and that's something Satori finds refreshing. He can be aggravating from time to time, especially when his mind starts to wander into the gutter, but she can't recall a single time they've talked that hasn't been...well, fun.

As a fellow lover of animals, Enkidu is growing on Satori rather quickly. He's unobtrusive, he's nice to her and her sister, and he doesn't mind all of the random animals around the house - simply put, he's pretty much her perfect idea of a person. She respects him, perhaps not as a father but as an equal, which is pretty high praise from someone like Satori! She still doesn't like when he hugs her, but she feels like that's something she could get used to. Maybe. Possibly. Okay, probably not, but she can try.

Zidane is one of those unflappable hero types. Just the kind of person Satori dislikes the most. And yeah, she thinks he's irritating, but honestly, he's not as bad as he could be. He's sort of like a mildly less annoying Yamame. And so we must ask the same questions about him - can Satori tolerate him? Yes. Does she like him? Probably not. Though if her unlikely friendship with Kei is any indication, there just might be a salvageable relationship here.

Brad Crawford was Satori's first Mayfield father. The two were an interesting combination; she took to him immediately. She's never met a mind reader other than her sister before, so that alone was enough to interest her. When he proved to be largely non-argumentative about her various activities, save when the furniture or the rug was in danger, Satori decided he was a good sort of person to live with. Much like her current "father" Enkidu, she respects Crawford as an equal, and was actually sort of sad to see him gone and happy to see him return.

Though Satori and Dahlia haven't really talked ever since Dahlia found out Satori could read her mind, the duplicitous redhead hasn't been forgotten. She seems interesting, at the very least - and judging by her obviously disturbed reactions to Satori, she might be fun to mess with.

Satori and Nanami have only just met, but she's already got a feeling that the two of them are going to get along swimmingly. Their desolate personalities mesh together well.
