L U S H R E V I EW !
So I saw Shoug's reviews (they are amazing by the way, go and check them out!) which inspired me to do my own. I only got into Lush earlier this year so I haven't tried too many products but I thought I'd do a review of the products I have tried.
BATH & SHOWER STUFF
SNOW FAIRY
Type of product: Shower Gel
Description: Our winter temptress shower hair and body gel that’s bursting with fruit fragrance and has a sparkle of ice through it. So don’t write Snow Fairy off as pink and girly. Its smell of candy floss and pear drops transports all of us back to days of standing in the sweet shop with our pocket money clasped in our fist, trying to decide what to buy.
My thoughts: I love this! The smell is incredible and you only need a tiny bit because it creates such a lather. It's such a bummer that this product only comes out in the holidays, I wish they'd make it permanent 'cause I don't know how I'll be able to live without this stuff when I run out. I also find that the scent lingers on the skin for a really long time which is great. I tried using it on my hair as well (I read somewhere that you can do that) and wasn't a fan of using it that way, so I think I'll stick to using it on the body.

ROCKSTAR
Type of product: Soap
Description: The creamy vanilla sweetie. Here’s a soap for all of us who know we ought to be attracted to sophisticated beiges and navy blues, but can’t help grabbing everything pink! The Rock Star soap smells just like Creamy Candy Bath, so all you budding starlets can shower and bathe with our sweet vanilla perfume.
My thoughts: Oh rockstar... probably the most talked-about lush product. It's something that every Lush fan has to try once and I'm glad I did, but it's not my favourite. The scent is okay.. I prefer fruity and sweet scents and this is kind of like a musky, sweet scent. The soap doesn't last long and melts pretty easily when you leave it in the shower even when you cut it in to chunks.

THE COMFORTER
Type of product: Bubble Bar
Description: This fruity bubble bar gives the feeling of being hugged by a jolly blackcurrant. When life is getting you down, crumble The Comforter under hot, running water for purple water and creamy bubbles. The warm aroma of cassis absolute is relaxing so relaxing that you’ll go to bed feeling happier and the world will seem brighter the next day.
My thoughts: This is my all-time favourite Lush product! It's incredible. It's a berry and blackcurrant kind of scene which I love. You definitely want to cut this into 4 or 5 chunks and just use one per bath because using one chunk creates just as many bubbles and has the same effect as using the whole thing.

BLUE SKIES AND FLUFFY WHITE CLOUDS
Type of product: Bubble Bar
Description: Calming, grounding, swirly blue and white bar for peaceful baths. A bath in superbly relaxing Blue Skies water is as relaxing as meditating in the peaceful garden of a Far Eastern temple, while enjoying the scents of the exotic blooms cultivated there. Picture this and we bet you’re already feeling better, but use our patchouli and frankincense-scented Blue Skies and Fluffy White Clouds and it’s as centering as being there in the flesh.
My thoughts: This made just as many bubbles and had the same feeling as the comforter but just with a different scent. It was a little more musky than the comforter and much less fruity which wasn't enjoyable for me. Definitely smell both in-store before choosing which one you're going to go with.

AVOBATH
Type of product: Ballistic
Description: For liveliness and softer skin. If you’re the sort who lounges in bed, Avobath is what you need to get you moving in the morning. It’s a refreshing ballistic with freshly mashed avocado and olive oil to treat your skin to a banquet, and lemongrass to stimulate sleepy brains. When you’re sluggish in the morning, get up and Avobath.
My thoughts: Honestly, I wasn't a huge fan of this. I didn't feel like it did anything and I wasn't a huge fan of the scent (though it was faint). I don't really know what else to say about it because it was so average.

SEX BOMB
Type of product: Bath Bomb
Description: Jasmine- clary sage and ylang ylang to make you feel like a love goddess. The power of these aphrodisiac oils lies in their ability to relax you at the same time as warming your heart and other body parts. The ancient perfumers of the Mediterranean knew a thing or two about lurve and we're using the methods they used thousands of years ago for the same results. Whether you want to be calm for a big night out or a quiet night in- prepare to detonate a Sex Bomb.
My thoughts: This is a great bath bomb for those people who like flowery, rose scents. I'm not a huge fan of flowery scents but this was enjoyable and quite relaxing.

FACE MASKS
MASK OF MAGNAMINTY
Description: Deep cleansing, minty face and back pack. After an overnight flight, a marathon in a rabbit suit or a walk along the Marylebone Road during rush hour, do you feel a deep need to be scrubbed clean? Here's a cleansing mask to do exactly that; China clay and bentonite gel will pull the dirt from your pores, ground aduki beans and evening primrose seeds exfoliate surface skin cells, and peppermint oil will make you feel so fresh and minty that you'll forget you were ever grubby.
My thoughts: I actually really liked this mask. Because of the mint, the mask is very cooling and when you first put it on, a little comfortable (especially around the eyes), but after a couple of minutes you barely notice you have it on anymore. It's a very refreshing mask and I feel as though it made my skin a lot better in both texture and appearance.

CATASTROPHE COSMETIC
Description: Avoid disasters with the power of blueberries! Fresh blueberries are rich in beneficial antioxidants, vitamins and minerals to reduce inflammation and act as a mild antiseptic. Soothing chamomile, Irish moss and almond oil work with the gentle cleansing action of calamine to save your skin. Apply to clean skin, avoiding the eye area. Leave for five to ten minutes, then rinse away with warm water. Keep chilled.
My thoughts: I've only used this once, and after I did I broke out which I didn't with the Mask of Magnaminty. It has a very faint blueberry scent which is very pleasant and it improved my skin texture and balanced out my skin drastically. The one downside was like I said, that I broke out.

LOVE LETTUCE
Description: An effective, exfoliating face mask which gives normal to oily skin a softened, smoothed and radiant glow. Polishing almond shell is balanced by the softening qualities of almond oil and seaweed gel. With soothing lavender essential oil and the cleansing, tightening action of Fullers’ Earth, you’ll feel fresh in no time. Apply to clean skin, avoiding the eye area. Leave for five to ten minutes, and then rinse with warm water while massaging gently.
My thoughts: This is a great mask for oily skin. It does balance and exfoliate really well but the large clumps in the mask made it feel less luxrious and more.. rough. It wasn't as pleasurable to put on as Catastrophe Csmetic but it did the job really well and I don't recall it breaking me out.

LIP SCRUBS
BUBBLEGUM
Description: his one will make your lips smell like our best-selling Snow Fairy shower gel. Bubblegum is made with exfoliating castor sugar and our delicious vegan flavour to gently scrub away rough skin, keeping your lips smooth and kissably soft with the help of jojoba oil.
My thoughts: This is a great lip scrub. The smell is to die for.. I wouldn't say it smells like bubblegum like the name implies, but it does smell exactly like snow fairy. Very sugary-sweet, yummy scent. It's very subtle but does a great job exfoliating the lips. Would definitely repurchase in the future.

POW WOW
Description: Our festive lip scrub to make sure that you are ready for any mistletoe action. Whilst you’re enjoying the sound effects, you can feel the organic jojoba oil, rose hip oil and argan oil smooth and soften the lips. There is goji berry powder in here too, because it is so nutritious. But because this is our party season scrub, Helen’s put ginseng root powder and caffeine powder in here to keep you going all night.
My thoughts: So, I picked this up last-minute at the counter when I saw it as it is limited edition and smells amazing. The problem is it doesn't do as good of a job of exfoliating my lips as the Bubblegum scrub. Pow Wow is a lot thicker.. it's literally big chunks as opposed to a thin sand/sugar-like texture and it hurts a little when you put it on your lips. I wish it had the same texture as Bubblegum.

HAIR STUFF
GOTH JUICE
Type of product: Styling Product
Description: It's the Gothic rocker in you -- wanting your grooming aids to work properly yet smell otherworldly. Until now you've settled for hair styling products that smell like the 'burbs. But mundane, artificial scents are not for you. Your hair needs hold AND magic. Enter Goth Juice. The color of blackberries in cream, with lots of lemon juice to add shine, its woody oakmoss and mysterious olibanum scent your tresses as if you'd been dancing in a castle all night with Robert Smith.
My thoughts: Unless I'm using this completely wrong, the product just doesn't work for me. I don't like the greasy feel of it or the texture. It has a very herbal, woodsy scent which I'm not a fan of. I might have to do some investigating for other uses for it or find someone who might enjoy it more than me. I'm not big on hair products to begin with so maybe it just wasn't a good fit for me.
