the joy that friendship brings is something that words can not completely describe. i am so blessed.
friday sean and alisha came to town for a wedding and i had to housesit that night. i also had to clean lindas house, whom i was housesitting for, and i was so tired i decided to do sat. morning. well, i forgot that saturday i had two jobs, so i woke up early..yuck, and i cleaned, then headed to the comets game to do face painting, then came home for an hour, only to go to clear lake for a birthday party to do face painting. finally made it on my way home and friday night i had found out that my friend stacy was in town, and would be leaving for italy in a only a few weeks. stacy is in the marines and i hadnt seen her in about three years. so, i called her up and she came over to visit for a while. it was an amazing visit. it didnt feel awekward, it felt like it did when we hung out everyday. i have really missed her. so, then sunday comes and i go to church sunday morning, get roped into helping with a bible study starting next week, and finally make it home to go to the beach with patrick, jess, allison, and allys new dude mark. it was an interesting trip between patrick cutting himself on some rocks, and me getting stung by a mysterious water monster. then we went to ccs for some pizza and finally decided to head to my house to congregate and watch a movie. well, getting any of us to agree on a movie is next to impossible so it was the incredibles to the rescue. monday came and i had invited everyone over for a harvest party. fajitas were on the menu and jess invited joey and jason and sweet daisy to come to dinner as well. my mom, dad, brother craig, and i had taken care of the boys all day today (monday), and so i invited brian and nicole and the boys to join us for dinner as well. we had quite the brood for dinner, and the food was great, if i may say so! after brian and nicole and the boys left, it was the some of the gang plus some new members and we just hung out, talked, and played some games for the rest of the evening. i got to love on the baby, which makes me happy, and was able to be with some of my favorite people in the world. i was a fifth wheel all weekend, and yet...it didnt bother me at all!
even though the world tells you that you need certain things to be happy, i can confidently say, its family and friends that love you that makes all the difference. and when the family doesnt always come through, it friends completely make up for it!
oh! nicole is having another boy!
