Good morning. So I have some writing news for you:
I started another book, tentatively titled "Star" and it's a stupid title but that is all I know of it so...yep. It deals with a girl who saw the end of the world in a catastrophic collision with a star and then nothing happened. As in, no one remembered it. And I play with time travel a little bit because Dr. Who inspires me like that, but not much. Just a little.
Man, first person is just soooo much easier to write in. I'm just saying. Usually it's a struggle to get to my 1k wordcount a day but with this one? Piece of cake. AND, I was reading through some of my "on hold, future" stuff and there is some nice shit in there, if I do say so myself. There's an awesome Snow White manuscript that I put aside for time's sake (to focus on COTMQ) as well as some whiney crap from a teenaged boy I wrote about. That boy sure was whiney. Anyway. I'm in a bit of a slump with COTMQ, so I'm going to push it to the back while I work on something that makes me smile and not hate myself. I will continue with the updates but that just means I have to revise one chapter a week, so it'll be okay.
Guys, I don't know if I want to query with COTMQ anymore. It's just so....complicated and huge in terms of world that I just don't know. I just wanna go off with my Star girl and have an adventure with Sender. I named the boy Benjamin Sender because I like naming my boys weird.
Yea well, today I'm going out with some friends so I'll mull it over.
Oh and I decided my entries will be public from now on, because eh.
