I am sitting in the library learning commons by a window
that overlooks the courtyard, and it's raining very hard, and all the flowers and trees in the courtyard are kind of dancing with it.
I feel like I should be building an ark instead of trying to write an anthropology paper.
The Haitian boy that I met in the carribean sent me pictures of himself doing handstands on the beach.
My life here has become a blur. Sometimes it's a good thing.
Yesterday I smoked and got kind of lonely, when I saw Kyle walking around outside, so I yelled to him to come hang out with me, and we went to Trader Joes and got limes and hummus and grapefruit soda and pita bread, came back and split a bottle of champagne and listened to the Flaming Lips waiting for everyone else to realize that it was not too early to start drinking.
Now I've got a canned energy drink and a pile of books and a paper to write.
