I read the news and it broke me
I cried because the world makes me angry and I'm in love with it.
Tonight I went up to the observatory on the hill with some friends. Once my eyes adjusted to the darkness of the trail, I looked up and remembered the stars.
Stars! I felt like I was in a fish tank wrapped up in christmas lights!
When we got close I could hear the low grumble of the observatory dome turning.
We got to see Jupiter, and five of its moons, and it was a relief to see it just hanging out up there.
