The story behind "wonderfoal."
No, it's not me boasting... My mom has a mare that is fearless. We didn't train her to be fearless, that's just the way she is. She goes up vertical banks, through flooded creeks, over dangerous bridges -- all on her own. Well, we jokingly called her "superhorse." After a few years, "Superhorse" had a baby. She taught that colt to be just like her. Continuing the superhero horse name, we called him "Wonderfoal." (No, not as his registered name, not even his barn name.) I really liked the sound of it, and several years ago, when I was thinking up a new username to write fanfic, it clicked. It was wonderfoal. :)
