Sorry for the lack of an update in a while, but I've been really, really, messed up here lately. Just a few days ago I wasn't even sure where I was at to tell the truth. Starting a week ago I was getting to feel pretty ill, ill all over my body. My back ached, and stung to the touch. My scalp hurt when you felt my hair. I had a fever. My stomach was killing me with a huge lump on my right side, and everything I ate instantly was repozessed by the toilet. My eyes burned. The veins in my hands stood out twice as much. I had a horrible headache, combined with terrible pressure. God was trying to break my body down for shipment home. So, after soaking in a hot bath and passing out shortly after getting out of the water I decided it was best to go to the hospital, just to be on the safe side.
I figured that I had apendecitus because of how bad the pain was in the side of my stomach, but the doctor reassured me that it was just a really bad case of the flu. They gave me two I.V. full of fluids, along with some nausia medicine, then sent me on my way with a perscription for some more nausia meds. I got home, layed in my bed, and truthfully I don't remember a whole lot else. I was loopy, incoherent, and really couldn't feel time. I do remember Melissa coming in and bringing me some roses. They are very, very, beautiful and I love them so much. I felt horrible because I couldn't give her anything while I was all loopy. I had just been so sick the past few days it was nearly impossible to go anyplace. I just thank God that I was able to go to work the next day. I was supposed to go that day, but I was far to out of it. Later on Melissa called me but as she was hanging up she told me to look over the side of the bed. There was a really cute white bag with red hearts that was made out of some really soft material. Inside was a teddy bear, some candles, silly putty, and dun-dun-dun - a rubix cube! Yeah-Yeah. Sadly I was far too out of it to play with it though.
The next day I started to feel a whole lot better, but I was getting a weird drip in my right nose. Yes, my right nose. Every so often just a little drip of snot would come down, and it smelled horrid. It was the foulest stuff ever. I rightfully dubbed it venom snot, with full belief that it could kill a regular man with a single drip. Pressure then started to build up badly around my right eye, the right side of my forhead, and my jawbone. I felt like my eye was going to be pushed out of socket.
This morning I just couldn't take it anymore. The pain was too much, and that's a lot coming from me because I can take pain. On top of that both of my noses were making venom, and it was running thick. I wanted to vomit with every swollow. We went into the urgent care center. Almost two hours later I was finally called into the exam room where I waited about another half hour for the doctor. When the doctor first came in asked a few questions, then looked inside of my ears, and my left nose. He said it sounded like I just had a held cold, which made me feel stupid for coming in. A lady came in and called him away to a phone call, which he took care of before returning. When he came back he looked in my right nose, and then told me to say, "ah." I opened my mouth, but he needed a tounge depresser. After depressing the tounge up good, and having me, "ah," myself well, he stepped back and just said, "wow." I was then told that I had a whole lot of puss running down my throat. He said that this was turning out differently than he thought it would and he'd have to give me some antibiotics to help with my sinuses, but if it doesn't clear up in five days then I need to back to the emergency room and have them do a face scan to see if I'll need surgery. That sucks, but I know that God is allowing all of this, so I don't fear it. He walked me through my wrist surgery, and He'll walk me out of this.
Right now the doctor has me on a sinus cocktail of sorts.
Every 12 hours I have to take:
3 sprays of Afrin - to help get me decongested
1 Advil Cold and Sinus - to help with sinus pressure
2 Mucinex - to keep my snot thinned out
1 Septra DS - to try and kill the infection (venom)
Right now it smells pretty bad and I just want to go lay down, so I think I'll do that shortly. Prayers are very much welcome, very much so. I love everybody, thanx.
I hope all are doing fine....call me sometime.
