(no subject)
I broke up with AB today. I can't seem to make him a priority and it's not fair to him. He was confused because I was confusing. I couldn't tell him the real reasons without hurting his feelings, so I gave the "no time" speech and wrapped it up with the "It's not you, it's me" spiel. The fact I would cancel on AB if Unrequited Crush called is bad. Very bad. Better if I just try to make more time for myself and other friends.
Otherwise it was a nice Memorial Day weekend. I had a great time helping at Fanime (thanks Keys!). I didn't get to go back to the con for more than a few hours during the weekend. I wore a blond wig and lolita on Saturday. As I was leaving the convention center I ran into one of my co-workers. He was wearing jeans and a t-shirt. I can explain the lolita, but the blond wig..."See you at work" indeed ^^;
Ending on a random note, things I've been told I look like recently: Hispanic (although I get this a lot), Russian (a new one!), a prairie dog, a white rhino, and a hippo (a cute hippo apparently).
