Hellooooo, LJ! It's been a long time, friends, a long long time.
I'm currently sitting in my apartment watching Michael Buble singing, very lovely, on Oprah. He's quite the cutie with a voice that always makes me sit up and listen.
The other day he was on some program and Matt yelled from the other room that "That one Bubble guy is singing!" Haha. Bubble. [snickers] He's silly.
Speaking of Matt, we're kind of...engaged. Yeah. No, not kidding. I've got the ring on my finger to prove it! What a world, what a life...I'm in love!!! There's not a date yet, but we're wanting to get a little more settled as far as jobs and such go, before we commit to a time and place.
I've been slightly unemployed for about 3 weeks now, which has had its pros and cons. Pros being that I've had time to do stuff around my apartment, cons being that my unemployment check isn't *quite* as much as I'd like it to be, but we're getting along okay for now. Matt and I will be moving back to Topeka within the next month, so we've been going back and forth applying for jobs and doing interviews. He has one tomorrow at a Doggie Day Care and I'm waiting to hear back from a dentist's office about a position I shadowed for the other day.
I'm so excited about Lost! and Grey's Anatomy! Lost is funny sometimes. It seemed for awhile there that it was going downhill and that it would lose a lot of viewers and get yanked off the air, but now it's like...cool again. Now we get to see that underwater hatch and there's gonna be that big throwdown between the others and the good guys. So yeah.
I wish I had something snazzy to say, but alas! I'm all out of snazziness. [sigh] Oh! I wanted to say that I screamed a little bit when Joey was the first one announced for the finals on Dancing with the Stars. Yay Joey! And I have been squealing like a teeny everytime that one of The Boys has been watching him from the audience. Chris does really look very *NSYNC NSA-era, which is fine. Scruffy!Chris was okay, but I was tired of him looking like some reject from Survivor. He looks good and so do Lance and JC.
I'll keep you guys updated on the wedding plans. We're not in a big hurry (which our parents very much approve of), so finalized info may be a few months away.

ETA: Totally forgot to mention how HOOKED I am on The Office and Heroes! Okay. Now I'm going, I promise.
