See, I would have said the same thing. Now, though, I think he's more of an animal person. He really wanted to take the puppy, but said he couldn't do that to the little guy with his current lifestyle and all the traveling. After the show, Steve was talking about it and said he has one cat and Christian has two.

I think that's sooo cute they have pets. I agree with others though...I can see Steve with a cat...but never thought of Chris as a cat person (more dog). But like you said, more of an animal person :)
