I'm still around.
It appears as though my last entry was not in vain, as we are now kicking all forms of ass (except that of the Detroit Tigers, but this too shall pass). Every day I heart Bobby Jenks just a little more. Now he has the same facial hair as Timmy. It's pretty fucking sweet.
Speaking of Detroit, I went there last month to see Pearl Jam.I saw them live once - the infamous Soldier Field show in '95. Now that was a kick-ass show, but the fact is I stopped really paying attention to them after like '97. I didn't even know they were still a functioning band untill I met Tim. But I have to say the show was just as good this time around as it was then. And I'm jealous of the Pistons stadium...it puts the United Center to shame. They have a BW3 in there for fuck's sake.
My back is far from reliable but I think I've finally come to an understanding with it. Me and my herniated disc are co-existing.
I'm not gonna list the books I've read in the last two months...it's been quite a few. Right now I'm reading a Monty Python Book and a book of essays about Twin Peaks. Both are interesting to say the least.
X-Men 3 was the shit, The Omen was disappointing and I don't know what to think about Nacho Libre. Has anyone seen this yet? It's weird because while actually watching the movie I only remember laughing like 3 or 4 times. But when I think about some of the shit that happened now, it makes me chuckle. I'll have to wait till I see it again I guess. Maybe it's a sleeper comedic masterpiece like Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy.
And I don't care what anyone says, I like the new AFI album.
Alright so enough of this crap. The big news:
I'm FINALLY going to Vegas!
We're signed, sealed and booked for October. Giddy up!
