this weekend was just what i needed.
honestly.
friday: watched Freedom Writers with my mom, had a little one on one time which was really nice, actually.
saturday: lounged all day eating things while my mom was out. worked on my movies. then went out in the sunshine to see Corbin and Faona. went to a deserted movie theater to watch Disturbia, which was actually an awesome movie to watch with friends. SAW A PREVIEW FOR THE TRANSFORMERS MOVIE. got excited.
sunday: 4 hour volleyball practice to prepare for nationals. met up with syd and jordan afterwards and drove to bubble tea and gelato. ate and talked in the sun. went back to syd's. jammed a bit. came home. finished my math project.
deep cove is so shimmery and blue and beautiful right now. the light is really soft and the sky and the water are exactly the same color. little boats are floating everywhere and the guy at the end of the street is having a little summer fiesta with a barbeque. little kids are running around. i'm going to run down to the dock now.
