Weeds or flowers
I was going to weed my wildflower garden. But once more I reminded myself ( hmmm is there such a thing as reminding oneself? ) that one man’s weed is another man’s flower. It was Emerson who was said that a weed is simply a plant whose virtues we haven’t discovered yet. I love dandelions! Yet most people call them “weeds”. Not only are they beautiful to look at, but are good to eat.Loaded in vitamin c and make a great tea.
I also thought of the ‘weeds” in my life. Sometimes what seems like a weed and should have been rooted out turned out to be a flower in the long run, or at least a so-called “weed” that ended up having a beautiful flower.
