I love a bit of snuggling, so I'm one happy reader. I think you have captured Sandor's sense of humour really well with his quips.
The casual intimacy here and them enjoying each others company makes their relationship so much more real and captivating for me. I'm totally obsessed!

Oh, good! I was hoping I could find just the right level of snarkiness for him.

Love that sentence, and the insight that comes with it.
She reminds him of a filly standing there, all long slender legs and filled with innate grace.
Beautiful description.
"The first one's free. Might be I'll want something in return next time. Not a bloody punch to the nose either."
I laughed at that. I know he's being facetious, but it's still very in character that he wouldn't give these tender kindnesses for free ;)
Another gorgeous chapter. I loved the little glimpses of their developing relationship, both emotional and physical. And the note of danger at the end has me even more eager for the next chapter than usual!
One note of concrit (I hope you don't mind a little criticism), and this might just be a personal thing on my part, but I find that he calls her "bird" and not "little bird" quite jarring. I don't know if you have your own reasons for that, though...

No, I don't mind a bit!
I don't really know that I have reasons for using "bird' instead of "little bird" sometimes. It wasn't a conscious choice. I just hear Sandor in my head and transcribe his words. I don't know how else to explain it other than it must be a sort of Sandor-ish shorthand the muse has come up with; that he'll use the full nickname and occasionally bump it down to "bird."
I'm sorry you find it jarring. I'll give it more thought in the editing yet to come, as you may not be the only one finding it so. I'm glad you said something. :)

A lovely chapter filled with insights about the way that a relationship can change and the way that it can change you. All of the snuggling made me very happy :) Loved Sansa's dreams of a small cottage that they could make their own, as well as Sandor's understanding that taking her maidenhead is no small thing, and his determination to honour her as he believes that she deserves.
Another wonderful chapter.

I mean to give your latest chapter a read tonight. If I can ditch the muse and stay off tumblr long enough, that is. My brain is all over the place today. Temporary ADD. *rolling eyes*
