Mount Holyoke

Hey..I am a junior in high school, I'm starting to worry a little about college..My first choice is Mount Holyoke, I did an overnight there and visited the riding center, I love it! So can anyone give me any advice on things I should be doing to help my chances of getting in?

GPA 3.88
SAT Idk yet
Class ranking top 20%

I think you will be totally fine - Holyoke is selective but not that selective, and these credentials seem good enough to get you into most colleges. They love when you dedicate your time to something, as you seem to have done with horses. Make sure to visit other places too, but if it feels right for you, just focus on having good scores and writing good essays, and I think you'll be fine ( ... )

your ec's are good but your lack of ap's last year will hurt you. apply ED and i think you have a pretty good shot.

If you want to minor in anything related to equitation or you want to board your horse on campus for personal riding, I'd recommend looking into Wilson.

Our equestrian programs are huge, and the horses are so well cared for here.

Sweet Briar is also one to look at if you're focused on riding. It's "the" school for it.

I am a current sophomore at MoHo. I cannot comment on acceptance, because I was transfer applicant. Transfer admissions is a very different game. If you have any questions about the school feel free to leave me some.

I would also recommend Hollins University for horseback riding as well. :D

I love our riding center, it is beautiful and kept so clean ♥
