One of the best signs of strength at a women's college is building, and they definitely have it. They have a gorgeous new building where there are faculty offices, classrooms, dining spaces, etc. They're one of the few smaller women's colleges that can really talk about their donations and endowment. No, they're not Harvard, but they're remarkable strong. And you can't beat the price.
I just loved how welcome I felt. I'm not gloating or anything, but I have everything needed to get into a Seven Sisters school or one of the NESCACs, for example, but RSC just felt like home. It really did. Some of my professors who want me to go to Smith or Yale think I'm insane, but I absolutely plan on applying to RSC. Even if I choose not to attend, I will always consider it to be an amazing place and encourage others to go. If I ever make it big financially, they'll be getting a nice check. I just still can't get over how nice they are. Just mentioning RSC makes me smile.
Even Smith, my alleged top choice (it never seems stable), doesn't quite do that for me.
If you have any questions about academics, special programs, or anything else like that, feel free to ask! :)
