I suggest Sex Wars: A Novel of Gilded Age New York by Marge Piercy.

OOoh, I love Marge Piercy. I've been meaning to read this one, also Gone to Soldiers.

Sex Wars is so good. I read it last month and I just couldn't put it down. And when it was over, I wanted to know more about the characters. It really resonated with me.

okay ladies I have been reading alot lately. So I have a few books Im not sure if I can post more than one or if the rules are just one. Im going to bend them a little

Im loving ann hood. The book the knitting circle is amazing. I read it in two hours and cried

comfort food by kate jacobs is good , lite, funny ect

and then my favorite

Mr. and Mrs Fitzwilliam darcy by sharon lathan

Im on a jane austen kick

oh god Im slow what are these about okay

Comfort food. is about a woman who is like martha stewart who has to compete with a younger woman for her cooking show

The knitting circle. Is about a group of women who meet one night a week to knit. Each one has had some sort of trauma (this has to be one of the best books out there)

ANd finally the last one mr, and mrs fitzwilliam darcy is a book about what happents to the darcy after jane austens pride and prejudice

Im on an austen kick I just bought tons of "sequels' To pride and prejudice.
