Profiler's Choice Award
How do everyone?
I've been asked to make an announcement and send out the femslash bat signal about the Profiler's Choice Awards. You can find the nominated fics and voting ballot here - http://forum.fanfiction.net/topic/74868/33067839/1/
I shall include the rules that have been set for the Awards and voting process, but it's all right there. I've been asked to highlight the femslash that has been nominated, as the majority of material is team/het/friendship orientated. So I have done so, but it is strictly the femslash and there are some friendship ones with the girls too. And if you like team/het pairings, there is LOTS to choose from so you can go nuts!

Profiler's Choice Criminal Minds 2010 Fanfic Awards RULES!
Please read all rules. Incorrect ballots will be immediately disqualified!
1. To submit a final ballot, you must have a fanfiction.net account. All communication will be done through PMs on the fanfiction.net site. Anyone with a fanfiction.net account can vote.
2. Final votes must be received by November 30, 2010 at 11:59 PM EST to be counted. You do not have to vote in every category…but you can only vote once.
3. When sending your final ballot PM, please copy the final ballot and include ONLY your vote after each category.
***For example:Best Overall Fic:The ABCS of the BAU by IWannaWin.
***Both the exact fic name and exact author name must be included (where applicable). We have a few fics in contention in the same categories that have the same titles but were written by different authors. Therefore, we MUST have both title and author. DO NOT INCLUDE ALL THE NOMINATIONS IN A SPECIFIC CATEGORY --- JUST INCLUDE YOUR SELECTION!
***The best way to do this is to copy and paste the final ballot into your word processing program, then delete the nominations you do not wish to vote for. Then you can copy your final vote into a PM to send to us at Profiler's Choice CM Awards.
4. All ballots must be sent by PM to Profiler's Choice CM Awards, which is a new PM established on fanfiction.net. Only ballots sent to this PM will be counted. Any PMs sent to ilovetvalot or tonnie2001969 will be discarded and your vote will not be counted. A confirmation PM will be sent when your valid ballot is successfully received.
5. Only one ballot will be received from each voter. Please ensure that your ballot is complete before you submit it. We will not accept any "additions" to your ballot nor will we replace your previous ballot.
6. Vote tampering or ballot stuffing will result in automatic elimination of any suspicious ballots, subject to the moderators' judgment. We have already encountered and dealt with multiple incidents of ballot stuffing during the nominating phase, and we will not hesitate to eliminate votes that are questionable. Our goal is to run a fair and impartial awards program that benefits everyone. Any author suspected of ballot stuffing and/or filing duplicate ballots under suspicious fanfic.net accounts may have his/her fics removed from award contention.
7. Self-voting IS allowed. You can vote for your own stories!
8. If you are concerned that a fic you felt should have been nominated did not appear on the final ballot, some nominations were eliminated for the following reasons:
***Fics didn't receive at least two nominations by two distinct nominators to be included on the final ballot.
***Fics were outside of the date constraints that were defined during the nominations process.
***Fics were self-nominated by the authors who wrote them, which violated nomination constraints.
***Fics and/or authors' names were misspelled and did not appear during intense searches of the fanfic.net site. Also, if the submission did not have all of the words that were in the title or the author's name, it was immediately discarded.
***Fics were obviously nominated in the wrong category.
***Best Author and Best New Author are completely separate categories and no author appears in both categories on the final ballot.
***And while we appreciate your support of our stories, all nominations for ilovetvalot and/or tonnie2001969 were automatically disqualified according to the rules stated in the nomination process.
***FYI: All nominations were triple verified by the moderators of this site for inclusion into the final ballot. Because we allowed works in progress to be nominated, nominating ballots were verified within 24 hours of receipt to ensure that the story in question met the date constraints. You may see that some stories appear to be out of date constraint now because the author is still writing and posting the story. You can rest assured that the story was valid at the time of submission.
9. If at any point you have a question concerning the rules or the ballot, PLEASE ask us!! We respond to PMs within 24 hours…and we are more than willing to provide any assistance you may need. Please PM us at Profiler's Choice CM Awards.
10. Winners will be posted no later than December 11, 2010. The fic that receives the most votes in a given category is the winner of that category. In the event of a tie, the tied fics will be listed as co-winners for that category.
11. We encourage everyone to take advantage of the links we have provided to each nominated story. Please read the submissions and base your votes on the merit of the individual fic, rather than just making this another popularity contest. 130 unique authors are included on this final ballot, and they were nominated by 79 unique nominators. Remember that your vote is confidential….you can vote for whomever you feel deserves the honor based on the actual work and not just friendship.
12. Write-ins are not permitted. You must choose from the selections provided in each category.
13. The decisions of the moderators (ilovetvalot and tonnie2001969) are final.
